  • Workshops are specifically themed experiential-based sessions to inform and inspire mindfulness in sustainable and inclusive ways. Slow Wellness workshops are an interactive and engaging way to collaborate, connect and create change for yourself or your organization.

  • These 30, 60, and 75 min mindful movement and meditation classes facilitated as a single class or as part of a pre-set series. Each class theme and intensity can be customized to meet the needs of your community. Guided in-person, or virtually via our digital studio.

Professional development meets self-development. This introductory workshop explores how a mindful and compassionate approach to productivity can help us find a better work/wellness balance.

Melissa brings attention to our individual and collective relationship to productivity and shares how a slower and more mindful strategy of accomplishment can positively impact your personal and professional development. This session is accessible to those with mindfulness and meditation experience and those curious about the practice. All are welcome.

A Course On Self Compassion

The belief that you have to be hard on yourself to succeed may work in the short term but has long-term negative consequences - mainly, the development of the inner critic.

Tender discipline diverts away from the traditional use of fear and shame as motivators - and invites a formula of intention, compassion, and integrity to hold us accountable to our goals while protecting our mental health and well-being.

This course dives into the science of compassion as an antidote to the inner critic and explores a new approach to success that removes the silent expectation of self-sacrifice.

SENSE OF SELF:
Self-regulation And Somatic Exploration

An unique experiential somatic based workshop that uses myofascial release, movement, and breath to cultivate self awareness and self-regulation skills.

This 2.5 - 3 hour session use a combination of mindfulness, movement, and breath-work to slow the mind and body down and allow you to cultivate a deeper awareness of what makes you who you are. You’ll leave with an understanding of how we interact with the world, how we asses and perceive information, and tools to regulate your nervous system.

This practice utilizes myofascial release techniques including trigger point therapy and ball rolling. Learn all about the physical benefits of this practice for pain management, mobility, and relaxation here.

THE SLOW WELLNESS COURSE:
Modern Mindfulness For A Life Lived Well

This course introduces you to the foundations of mindfulness and meditation and it’s integrations as part of a slow wellness practice. This session will help you develop a different relationship to your body and its sensations, and your mind and its thoughts. In this highly participatory and experiential-based series, you’ll learn various formal and informal meditation techniques and how these practices can be integrated into daily living. This is suitable for those new to mindfulness and meditation as well as those with experience.

  • TSWC is a restorative class designed to regulate your nervous system through a slow and grounding brain-body practice. TSWC is a unique hybrid class that blends yoga postures with meditation, mindfulness, breath-work, and vagal nerve stimulation. With the additional benefit of hands on touch and massage, this unique experience moves you towards your most rested, regulated, and relaxed self.

  • Led by Melissa, participants will explore techniques to quiet the mind, release tension, regulate the nervous system, and deepen their connection to the present moment. In this session, we blend mindfulness and somatic-based exercises with gentle movement and supportive guidance to cultivate a sustainable and accessible meditation practice suitable for all levels.

  • TSWC is a restorative class designed to regulate your nervous system through a slow and grounding brain-body practice. TSWC: Somatic Release is a unique class that uses trigger point therapy, ball rolling and breath-work to directly target physical and energetic tension held within the fascial system of the body. As tension is released, blood circulation improves, promoting the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the affected areas. This improvement reduces pain, increases range of motion, and improves physical function.

  • This class is informed by clinical pilates, yoga, and functional movement. This class focuses on intentional activation and alignment for a slow and and satisfying workout. Beginner friendly.

  • This is a resistance based class that uses pilates apparatus, weights, resistance bands and bodyweight for a strength building practice that is functional and challenging. Informed by STOTT clinical pilates method, this class challenges your stability, improves your flexibility and develops your strength.
